The ideal candidate combines strong clinical knowledge with excellent writing and presentation skills, is comfortable creating and posting professional educational content, and can help translate evidence-based information into engaging educational materials. Passy Muir seeks an individual who will help maintain the company reputation for the highest quality products, backed by innovative educational materials, and expert clinical support. Responsibilities Using clinical knowledge, assist with the development, composition, review, and editing of clinical, educational, and marketing materials. Develop new clinical education content for online and in-person learning, including seminars, workshops, presentations, handouts, webinars, and other educational resources. Support the development and ongoing improvement of the company's learning management system (LMS), including course content, learner resources, and clinical education materials. Research and evaluate current clinical literature and support evidence-based research and educational projects. Create, review, edit, and post clinically appropriate digital content in collaboration with the marketing team. Help identify relevant social media topics, educational themes, and content opportunities for speech-language pathologists and other healthcare professionals. Review and draft clinical journal articles, educational articles, website content, and other professional communications. Assist with recording and editing educational videos; video editing experience is preferred but not required. Occasionally travel to provide clinical support and education through seminars, presentations, product-use training, and educational programs at universities, medical facilities, and state or national conventions. Perform clinical education and content-development responsibilities consistent with the position. Skills and Competencies Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to communicate clinical concepts accurately and clearly to professional audiences. Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills. Strong public speaking, teaching, and presentation skills. Experience with social media platforms and the ability to create, edit, schedule, and post professional content. A strong understanding of current trends and best practices in digital education, online learning, and professional social media. Strong computer literacy, including experience with webinars, virtual education, and online learning tools. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to organize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with clinical, regulatory, marketing, and technical personnel. Strong time-management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills. Exemplary professional conduct and sound judgment when representing the company and communicating clinical information. Basic or intermediate video editing skills for educational, website, and social media content are a plus. Qualifications and Experience Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required. Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required. Clinical experience in speech-language pathology required; experience in dysphagia, airway management, tracheostomy, or related clinical areas is preferred. Experience developing clinical education, continuing education, digital learning, or professional content is preferred. Hands-on experience with Passy-Muir tracheostomy products. Certifications and Licenses CCC-SLP certification. Applicable state Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure. Valid driver's license with a good driving record required.
