Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Jamestown, CA, serving the school setting. This role involves providing essential speech and language services to support students' communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals Provide direct therapy sessions aimed at improving speech and language skills Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare providers, to ensure a coordinated approach to care Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapy process
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desired Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and collaborate Ability to work independently while also functioning well within a team environment Active licensure as required by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology This contract position provides a unique opportunity to impact student lives positively while benefiting from professional support and development.
