Speech and Language Pathologist in Kerman, CA

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position offers an excellent opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) dedicated to supporting students in an educational setting. Located in Kerman, CA, this full-time contract role requires candidates to provide onsite services within a school environment, managing significant caseloads and contributing to the success of student communication development.

Key Qualifications:

Must hold a current SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Minimum of 2 years experience working in California schools. At least 1 year of experience with the Special Education Information System (SEIS). Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and facilitators is preferred. Ability to effectively manage high caseloads and handle referrals is essential. Candidates who are Speech-Language Pathology Assistants are not eligible. Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply. Bilingual skills are valued.

Kerman, California Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, including 25-30 speech-only students. Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student communication goals. Utilize SEIS for case documentation and reporting. Potential supervision and collaboration with SLPAs to enhance service delivery.
