A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Deliver impactful care where it matters most by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to schools in the Lake Elsinore, CA area. In this contract-based position, you'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to make a positive difference in the lives of children experiencing speech and language challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Provide targeted therapy sessions aligned with each student's communication goals Track progress thoroughly with meticulous documentation Collaborate regularly with educators, specialists, and fellow clinicians to ensure holistic, coordinated support Engage, educate, and empower families as valued partners in the therapy process

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active or eligible state licensure as required by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is ideal Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills Comfortable working independently and as part of a diverse team
