Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active Speech-Language Pathology license in California and CTC certification required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in SLP Previous school-based SLP experience needed; high school experience is valued but not mandatory Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage a dynamic K-8th grade caseload with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary and middle school students Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for children with communication disorders Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success Complete all required documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance tasks Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
