This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide comprehensive speech therapy services in a K-12 school setting. The position is contract-based and requires onsite presence at a single school location, with no travel involved. The role focuses on delivering effective support to students across all grades, ensuring their speech and language needs are met to enhance academic success and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students. Provide direct therapy services tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary efforts to support student development.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings. Familiarity with school-based therapy protocols and K-12 student needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and families. Ability to work onsite full-time Monday through Friday, delivering 37.5 hours per week.
Location and Schedule:
Based in Quartz Hill, CA. Contract position starting ASAP through June 5, 2026. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Single school location, onsite only. This role is ideal for a dedicated SLP seeking to impact students' communicative development within a dynamic school environment.
