Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding contract opportunity awaits skilled Speech Language Pathologists passionate about making a difference in elementary education. This full-time role, set within a supportive school environment, focuses solely on delivering dedicated speech and language services to students—without additional district duties such as bus duty or parent pickup. The assignment spans from August 2026 through January 2027 and promises a steady weekday schedule from 8am to 3pm.
Desired Background:
Holds appropriate licensure or certification for Speech Language Pathology (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY). Adept at working with elementary-aged children in educational settings. Experienced in both direct and indirect therapy services. Comfortable functioning independently within a collaborative team model. Familiarity with IEP documentation and case management is a plus.
Daily Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention for students with communication and language needs. Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student outcomes. Maintain thorough progress notes and required documentation. Deliver both direct (face-to-face) and indirect (consultation, planning) services. Focus entirely on caseload-related responsibilities during contracted hours—no extra campus duties required.
