Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students near beautiful Solvang and Lompoc, CA, as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in students' lives—whether you're an experienced SLP, a Clinical Fellow, or a teletherapy specialist. You'll enjoy a consistent schedule of one day per week (8 hours per day) and have the chance to work throughout the academic calendar, including additional days before and after the school year, ensuring comprehensive student support.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC or eligible) Previous experience in pediatric settings, teletherapy, and/or school-based environments preferred CTC permit REQUIRED or in-progress with documentation; candidates must cover the CTC permit fees Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to evidence-based therapy and individualized student care Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs, including those with

IEPs Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and virtual speech and language therapy services to K-12 students Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individual treatment plans Monitor and document student progress toward therapy goals Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating effectively with teachers and staff Offer consultation and support to school personnel and families Maintain compliance with state licensure and school district regulations What's In It for
