This full-time contract position for the 20262027 school year offers the opportunity to work with a diverse K12 population in a supportive school environment near Long Beach, CA. As a valued speech-language pathologist, youll serve students across all grade levels, tailoring your caseload to your professional strengths and preferences, whether you excel with early childhood, elementary, or pediatric populations with moderate to profound needs. With flexibility for both local and travel professionals, your expertise will play a crucial role in student development and communication success.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Previous experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly desirable Graduate degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program Experience in K12 school settings, with flexibility to support various levels and needs Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Dedication to fostering growth in students with a range of speech and language challenges
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students in both group and one-on-one settings Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure holistic support Monitor student progress, adjust treatment as needed, and maintain accurate records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student goals As part of this contract role, youll benefit from competitive weekly pay between $40 and $60 per hour, a comprehensive healthcare package, and access to a 401(k) plan with company matching, giving you peace of mind as you make a difference in students lives.
