Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vital Speech-Language Pathologist role providing therapy services in school-based settings. This is a contract opportunity covering assignments at two distinct school sites during the academic year, supporting students with their communication and language needs.
Schedule:
35 hours per week, full-time commitment.
Grant Elementary:
September 26 - after Thanksgiving Break.
Stanford Middle School:
December 16 - end of the school year.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). At least one year of experience working as an SLP in an educational setting. Active state licensure to practice as an SLP. Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse student populations.

SLPA or VOCO backgrounds are not required for this assignment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals for students. Deliver direct and consultative therapy sessions in accordance with IEP requirements. Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies. Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student success. Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team discussions.
