This contract opportunity is tailored for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in pediatric and school-based settings. You will work within a supportive environment, collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists to help children achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in California Demonstrated experience in pediatric, healthcare, or educational settings Competency in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and monitoring student progress Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in accordance with school policies and state regulations Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs and goals Deliver therapy sessions to students in both individual and small group settings Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to optimize outcomes Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, session notes, and progress reports Actively participate in IEP meetings and team conferences as needed Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology relevant to a school environment This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team passionate about supporting students' growth.
