Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid California licensure as an SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA Previous experience in K-12 schools or pediatric healthcare preferred Proficient in delivering speech and language therapy and conducting student assessments Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and educational teams Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic practices SLPA candidates should have verifiable school-based experience

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and multidisciplinary evaluations Offer guidance and support to ensure student inclusion and academic achievement
