9665096-91762 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This dynamic, full-time position will allow you to make an immediate impact by addressing the communication needs of a diverse K-12 caseload. Work closely with dedicated educators and families, bringing your expertise to students who benefit most from your care. The opportunity is available now, with the assignment duration currently being finalized.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP licensure in California Prior experience in a school or educational environment strongly preferred Skilled in evaluation, intervention, and development of individualized education plans (IEPs) Compassionate communicator confident working with students, staff, and families Ability to manage and prioritize a varied K-12 caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input Support students in reaching their communication goals through evidence-based practices Embark on a challenging and fulfilling contract position where youll help students thrive academically and socially.
