A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

    School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Los Angeles Area, CA
  • Full-Time Contract Position through ProCare Therapy
  • ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district just outside of Los Angeles, California to fill a
  • full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • position for the remainder of the school year, with the
  • possibility of extension into the following school year
  • . This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school team and make a meaningful impact across multiple elementary school sites.

2 elementary school campuses
Caseload:
Approximately 45 students
Contract Type:
W-2 through ProCare Therapy
  • Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district/state requirements
  • Qualifications:
  • Active California SLP license required Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology School-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage a larger caseload across multiple sites
