Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact in students' lives by providing exceptional speech and language services in an educational setting. This contract-based, part-time position offers the flexibility of working 2-3 days per week and involves a manageable caseload of approximately 15 students. Whether you're an SLP or a licensed SLPA, your expertise will be valued and supported in this collaborative environment near Nevada City, CA.
Key Qualifications:
Valid California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred Solid knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs and therapy plans
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 15 students Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's communication goals Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed for optimal student outcomes
