Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower students to find their voices and make a lasting impact by providing critical speech and language services in a dynamic school environment near Novato, CA. This contract opportunity is perfect for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists, whether you are already certified (CCC-SLP) or in the process of completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language needs in school-aged children Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique challenges and strengths Deliver engaging therapy sessions designed to support achievement of communication goals Diligently monitor and document progress, updating plans as needed Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary educational team for integrated, student-centered care Involve and educate families, empowering them to participate in the therapy process

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active or eligible state license in Speech-Language Pathology CCC-SLP preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply Prior experience with pediatric or K-12 populations preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Skilled at both independent practice and team-based collaboration You'll be supported with a comprehensive package—including ongoing professional development, access to a knowledgeable advisory team of SLPs in your state, and tools to help you succeed with your students.
