Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working onsite as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting near Novato, CA. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing vital support to elementary and middle school students across two engaging locations. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through June 10, 2027, giving you the stability to develop relationships and see students thrive over time. Your expertise as a licensed SLP will be invaluable as you assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, working collaboratively within the school environment to ensure each students success.
Qualifications and Skills:
Hold an active and valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license; CCC certification required Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary and middle school settings Strong background in delivering speech-language services within schools Ability to create individualized treatment plans, track progress, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Comfortable working exclusively onsite; remote or teletherapy not available for this role Please note: SLPAs are not accepted for this assignment
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students on your assigned caseload Conduct assessments, write reports, and develop effective IEP goals Collaborate proactively with teachers, parents, and support staff Maintain comprehensive documentation and follow district policies Travel between two nearby school locations as needed, ensuring continuity of care This full-time assignment offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a supportive environment, see your students achieve their communication goals, and contribute positively to the school communities.
