This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for an SLP or SLPA who thrives in adapting their expertise to a diverse caseload split between a middle school and an elementary school. You'll collaborate with educators and families to help students overcome communication barriers and reach academic and social success.

Position Highlights:

Provide speech and language therapy to students across elementary and middle school settings Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) based on students unique needs Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify speech or language impairments Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student goals and progress Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development opportunities Engage creatively with students, using evidence-based practices to maximize communication outcomes Stay current with best practices and professional guidelines in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

Valid California SLP or SLPA license or eligibility to obtain Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, though not required Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Passion for supporting students educational access and personal growth This role offers compensation within the range of $45-$65 per hour, reflecting the value of your expertise and commitment.
