r31016-94607 Job Description Step into a purpose-driven contract assignment as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist supporting 6th through 12th-grade students. This opportunity is designed for professionals who are passionate about helping adolescents develop their communication skills and succeed in academic and social settings. The position is conveniently scheduled for 10 hours per week across two days, allowing for work-life balance and flexibility.
Qualifications:
Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification required Previous experience with middle or high school-aged students is preferred Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in school settings Skilled in individualized education program (IEP) planning, implementation, and reporting Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in grades 612 based on IEP goals Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to foster student progress Document student performance and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team Experience the benefits of a supportive work environment, with competitive rates and the stability of a contract running from mid-August 2026 through May 2027.
