Youll work closely with students in grades 6-12, making a difference in their academic and personal growth within an engaging school environment. Your expertise will guide approximately 50 students, helping to assess needs, develop communication skills, and collaborate with educational teams.
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (state certification) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings Ability to conduct assessments and manage IEPs Strong organizational and communication skills Comfort working onsite and collaborating with educators, families, and students
Role Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services for students in grades 6-12 Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, conducting assessments to determine individual needs Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, working with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Track and report on student outcomes, ensuring services are tailored and effective Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff Maintain thorough, up-to-date records of assessments and interventions
