Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, supportive school environment and provide essential Speech-Language Pathology services while covering maternity leave for two valued team members. This contract opportunity involves working with K-12 students across multiple sites in the area, focusing on assessment, intervention, and support for individualized education needs. Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Experience working in pediatrics, educational, or healthcare settings Prior exposure to teletherapy platforms is preferred Strong skills in collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language services to K-12 students, supporting a wide range of needs Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, and help develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Work across multiple school sites, delivering therapy, progress monitoring, and consultation Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and communicate updates to families and staff Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, student-centered atmosphere Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to accommodate student schedules and needs You'll have the opportunity to share your expertise while earning between $45 and $55 per hour, with a stimulating school-based caseload that keeps every day engaging and meaningful.
