Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for California Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred Ability to develop individualized education and therapy plans Comfortable with both in-person and virtual service delivery, as needed Strong communication and organizational skills Dedicated, compassionate, and professional approach

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, addressing a wide range of communication disorders Conduct assessments, interpret results, and determine appropriate interventions Maintain accurate, timely documentation compliant with school and state regulations Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's progress and inclusion in the classroom Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on language and communication needs Monitor student progress, adjust therapies as needed, and prepare progress reports This is an excellent chance to work in an educational setting where you'll have a lasting positive influence on students' communication skills and overall academic achievement.
