9674948-94303 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist near the vibrant Palo Alto, CA area. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current CCC-SLP or CFY with strong school-based experience Active state licensure (or eligibility) Background in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for K-12 students Knowledge of IEP process and collaborative skills with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, problem-solving, and record-keeping abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide both direct and consultative speech and language therapy to a diverse student caseload Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and re-assessments as needed Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate progress and ensure academic support Contribute to IEP development, data collection, and documentation of student outcomes Participate in school meetings, team conferences, and professional development Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district policies Immerse yourself in an inclusive school environment where your expertise is valued and your commitment enriches student success.
