Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working with young learners in a supportive educational environment dedicated to helping each child thrive. This contract opportunity focuses on providing speech and language therapy services within a PreK caseload, located in a vibrant community near Rancho Cucamonga, CA. You'll become a valued part of a school-based team, utilizing your expertise and compassion to help students build essential communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current California SLP licensure or eligibility ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Experience in school-based settings or pediatrics highly preferred Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery as needed Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsPrimary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive evaluations and develop individual education plans (IEPs) for PreK students Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in line with students' IEPs Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Utilize evidence-based practices adapted for school and teletherapy settings Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program improvement This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate between $48 and $60, reflecting your experience and expertise.
