In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse pediatric populations. Your expertise will help unlock potential, foster confidence, and improve quality of life for your patients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication challenges in pediatric patients Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs, focusing on speech therapy techniques and early intervention strategies Implement engaging therapy sessions that promote speech development, language acquisition, and social communication skills Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support and progress tracking Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches as needed to maximize outcomes Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with healthcare standards Educate families on exercises, strategies, and tools to support ongoing communication development at home Requirements Proven experience working with pediatric populations is highly preferred Strong knowledge of physiology related to speech production, swallowing mechanisms, and anatomy relevant to speech therapy Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and medical terminology used in healthcare environments Ability to apply speech therapy practices effectively within early intervention programs Excellent communication skills for working with children, families, educators, and healthcare professionals Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to speech and swallowing functions is essential Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or equivalent credential is required

$90.00 - $100.00 per hour
