You'll work in-person, splitting your week between two supportive campuses, with the advantage of having a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) assigned to each site on select days.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC credential Demonstrated experience working with school-aged students Ability to manage and balance a split caseload between middle and high school populations Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially in multidisciplinary educational environments Familiarity with evaluation, intervention, and documentation for mild to moderate needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with students' IEP goals Provide direct therapy for students in both middle and high school settings Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress notes, and communication with staff and families Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student success Supervise and mentor SLPAs on assigned days to ensure quality service delivery Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as required This contract assignment requires 37 hours per week on-site, allowing you to develop ongoing relationships and see real progress.
