Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take on a rewarding opportunity supporting students' communication development in a dynamic, supportive school setting. This contract position offers the chance to make a genuine impact, working with a diverse caseload focused on speech-only, mild-to-moderate, and extensive learning needs. The assignment includes providing services across two elementary school sites, making each day varied and fulfilling. Ideal candidates will possess expertise in speech-language pathology, with flexibility for different modes of service delivery—whether you prefer in-person, hybrid, or virtual options, your skills and preferences are valued here. The caseload is approximately 55 students, allowing for meaningful engagement and a chance to see real progress.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) Experience working with school-aged children preferred Ability to serve students with a range of needs, including mild, moderate, and extensive support requirements Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Flexibility for full-time in-person, hybrid, or virtual assignments Team-oriented attitude; open to collaborating as part of an
SLP/SLPA
team (with SLPA in-person)
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students across two elementary campuses Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students with varied needs Complete required documentation and progress reports Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams This contract position provides the flexibility of exposure to different environments and student groups, as well as professional collaboration opportunities.
