Job Description

Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid California state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to diagnose and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans and interventions Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress Maintain thorough records and document students' treatment activities, goals, and progress Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in both individual and group sessions Educate staff and families about strategies to enhance students' communication skills This contract role offers a competitive pay range of $60-$80 per hour, allowing you to leverage your skills while enjoying flexible work arrangements that fit your lifestyle.
