A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

About Wings Learning Center Founded in 2001, Wings Learning Center is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) can achieve personal growth and learn at their own pace. As a specialized school licensed by the California Department of Education, we serve students aged 5 to 22 with ASD and similar developmental learning differences. Our commitment includes ongoing staff development, training, and support to implement the most effective therapies and emerging technologies, ensuring our students' success. What you'll do Collaborate within a transdisciplinary team to provide educational and therapeutic programs for students aged 5-22 with ASD. Assess and evaluate students' needs, developing individualized speech therapy plans. Plan and schedule individual and group therapy sessions. Create customized Speech therapy materials tailored to each student's requirements. Participate in Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings, developing goals and objectives, and providing appropriate Speech therapy recommendations. Qualifications Valid Speech and Langauge Pathology license in the state of California. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited program. Previous experience as an Speech and Language Pathologist is preferred but not required Benefits Competitive salary, based on education and experience 90k-100k Seven weeks of vacation, including Spring Break, Winter Break, Summer Break, paid legal holidays, and PTO days.
