Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication skills in an educational environment near San Francisco, CA. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who thrives working with children and collaborating with educators and families. With a schedule of 16 hours per week for the full school year, you'll provide essential speech and language services, helping students overcome challenges and succeed academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in California Experience working in school settings or with school-aged children preferred Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide direct therapy services Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals Document progress, prepare reports, and attend IEP meetings as required Offer support, strategies, and resources to teachers and caregivers Uphold confidentiality and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal requirements This part-time, full school year assignment offers the flexibility to make a difference in students' lives while accommodating your professional needs.
