This contract position is primarily focused on Elementary School students and is ideal for professionals eager to contribute their expertise on-site for the current school year with the opportunity for annual renewal. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF) California Certificate of Clearance (COC) required Prior experience working in schools or with SEIS systems is advantageous Comfortable serving a caseload of mostly mild-to-moderate, with some severe needs, and experience with AAC devices a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to PreK students Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and maintain compliant documentation Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and families Support students with diverse communication needs using evidence-based practices Travel to multiple school sites within the district if required
