Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students' communication skills in a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to provide vital speech and language services. As part of a collaborative and student-focused special education team, you will play an essential part in helping each learner reach their fullest potential. Work from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), beginning August 12, 2026 and continuing through June 10, 2027. With a manageable caseload of up to 55 students, you'll have the opportunity to form meaningful professional connections and make a lasting impact across the school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid California SLP license or eligibility ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY considered Previous school-based experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering student growth and development
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services in individual and small-group settings Conduct assessments and interpret results for initial evaluations and triennials Participate actively in IEP meetings; update IEPs and progress reports as required Develop engaging therapy plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student success You'll enjoy a supportive atmosphere where your expertise is valued and your impact is evident every day.
