Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Valencia, California Soliant - 3.9 Valencia, CA Job Details Contract $47.53 - $67.53 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a school setting near Valencia, CA, offering the chance to support children's communication development. This contract position is ideal for professionals skilled in pediatric speech-language pathology and teletherapy services.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Eligibility or possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure applicable to the location Experience in school-based speech therapy, including IEP development preferred Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices Background working with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) in school or healthcare environments is a plus

Based in Valencia, California, servicing local schools within the community
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric clients Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders Utilize evidence-based interventions, including teletherapy, to promote speech and language skills Monitor treatment progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to support holistic care Supervise and coordinate with SLPAs supporting therapy services
