9596198-95060 Job Description Step into an exciting, full-time opportunity as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist serving vibrant elementary and middle school students near the scenic coastal area of Santa Cruz, CA. This contract position runs from August 6 through May 27, placing you at the heart of a supportive school environment where your expertise makes a direct and lasting impact. As part of your weekly routine, youll manage an average caseload of 55 students, providing essential speech and language services primarily within school settings, with one home & hospital service per week. Collaborate with experienced educators, families, and other professionals to create supportive, individualized learning pathways for each child.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech-language services within school-based settings Background working with elementary and/or middle school populations Ability to flexibly meet the needs of students in diverse environments, including both school-based and home/hospital settings Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language assessments and develop personalized intervention plans Deliver therapy services that address students unique needs Engage in regular communication with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain thorough documentation to support student progress and meet compliance standards Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input for student support plans Enjoy highly competitive compensation at $55+/hour, paid weekly.
