Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist, serving students across both elementary and high school settings. This full-time role runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, providing critical support to a caseload of 45-50 students. With a schedule of 8:00am-4:30pm, you'll have the chance to make a direct impact in an engaging educational community near the scenic Santa Cruz area.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Disorders Valid state licensure, or the ability to obtain licensure for speech-language pathology SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credential (Clinical Fellowship welcomed) Experience working in schools preferred; supportive supervision for Clinical Fellows available Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, identify speech and language needs, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within both elementary and high school environments Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements Attend and participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions as needed
