Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who hold SLP certification and have a passion for helping children succeed academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Prior experience working in school-based settings is highly preferred Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children Excellent interpersonal, organization, and time management skills Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Skilled in conducting assessments and writing detailed evaluative reports Dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with varying needs Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals Develop and update Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation and participate in IEP meetings Consult with staff on strategies for classroom language support Monitor and document student progress toward established goals Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in professional development to stay abreast of best practices This contract role offers an opportunity to expand your professional toolkit and make a real difference for students in the community.
