Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California Previous experience providing therapy in school settings preferred Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and state educational requirements Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Willingness to work with diverse student populations across all K-12 grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Provide direct SLP services to students in both group and individual settings Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student progress Incorporate evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic approaches Complete timely and accurate documentation of services and student progress Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and relevant school events
