Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the 26/27 school year, offering a contract position within a school setting in Sonora, CA. This role involves managing K-12 caseloads with a range of mild to severe speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Manage and treat a caseload with diverse speech and language needs, including mild to severe cases. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate records and provide documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.Qualifications:
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) required. Experience working as an SLP in pediatric and school settings preferred. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) or equivalent. Ability to handle a full-time workload of 40 hours per week. Strong communication and organizational skills. This position offers a unique travel opportunity for speech-language pathologists interested in working within educational environments. The contract is for the full academic year with a focus on supporting students across a broad age range and varying levels of need.
