Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel A travel Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available in Sonora, CA, to provide essential speech and language services within a school setting. This role involves delivering comprehensive evaluations and tailored treatment plans to support students with speech and language disorders.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough evaluations of students presenting with speech and language challenges Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans targeting specific speech and language goals Administering therapy sessions designed to promote effective communication skills Monitoring and accurately documenting student progress throughout treatment Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic student care Engaging families to educate and involve them in the therapy process Qualifications and experience sought: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Preference for candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Must maintain an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in the respective state This travel position offers the chance to gain diverse clinical experience while receiving support from an advisory team comprising experienced Speech-Language Pathologists within your state.
