Ideal Experience & Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Communication Disorders Current license (or eligibility) to practice Speech-Language Pathology in California Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly at the elementary level, is preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to create customized treatment plans and maintain accurate documentation Passion for fostering student growth and success
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver targeted speech and language therapy Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students progress Monitor student outcomes, adjust interventions as necessary, and participate in IEP meetings Provide therapy services in both group and individual settings Advocate for student needs and help create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment This role offers the chance to be part of a supportive school community dedicated to helping each child thrive academically and socially.
