Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting students' communication needs throughout the full school year in an engaging educational environment near Sunnyvale, CA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), you will play a pivotal part in helping K-12 students discover and develop their voices. With a manageable caseload cap of 55 students and no paraprofessional (SLPA) supervision required, this contract opportunity allows you to dedicate your expertise directly to the students who need it most.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Active California SLP license Prior experience working in a school setting preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills Comfortable independently managing a diverse caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

Complete speech and language evaluations for students as part of a multidisciplinary team Develop and execute individualized treatment plans (IEPs) to address a variety of communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy with classroom objectives Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports Provide creative therapy in both individual and group settings Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
