Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Step into a rewarding contract-to-hire opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time role runs from November through the anticipated end of the school year, providing valuable coverage for a maternity leave. The position offers a chance to make a difference in the educational growth and communication development of students while gaining experience in a supportive, collaborative school setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Comprehensive understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in educational environments Proficient in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for diverse caseloads Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations for students referred for SLP services Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success and generalize skills into the classroom Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting in compliance with school policies and state regulations Participate in IEP meetings as a key member of the multidisciplinary team This contract-to-hire opportunity enables you to build strong relationships with students and staff throughout the school year.
