Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role utilizing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting near Thousand Oaks, CA. This in-person opportunity is perfect for passionate professionals eager to make a direct impact on students' speech and language development. Enjoy a balanced workweek spanning Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, totaling 21 hours across three days.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current, valid SLP license for California ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience working with school-aged children, ideally in an educational setting Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-person therapy services to students on a consistent, part-time schedule Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, targeting speech, language, and communication goals Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored treatment plans for students with a variety of communication needs Collaborate with educators and families to support students' IEP goals and educational progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment progress, and compliance records Participate in IEP meetings and school-based teams as needed
