Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a lasting difference in students' lives by providing exceptional speech and language services across a wide age range, from preschool through post-secondary. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), whether you hold your Clinical Fellowship (CF) or a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). You'll work in a supportive educational environment serving a caseload of 60 diverse students near Watsonville, CA, from June 15 to July 16. The schedule offers 20 hours per week (five hours, four days per week), giving you the chance to maintain work-life balance as you make a meaningful impact.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active California SLP license or eligibility ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or pending completion of CFY requirements Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and adolescent populations in educational settings Ability to manage a varied caseload with compassion and strong organizational skills Collaborative mindset for partnering with educators, families, and other specialists Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students ages preschool through post-secondary Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring measurable progress Conduct comprehensive evaluations, create detailed reports, and help guide intervention planning Work alongside multidisciplinary school teams to support student achievement Engage with families and staff to enhance communication strategies and educational outcomes Document services provided in compliance with school and professional standards Step into a role where your expertise changes lives every day.
