Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting early learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This assignment runs from August 20, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact with a caseload of PreK and Kindergarten students (approximately 2535). As an onsite position near Woodland, CA, youll collaborate closely with educational teams to foster communication growth in young children.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP license; candidates outside California are invited to apply if willing to obtain CA licensure CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Experience working in school settings preferred Familiarity with PreK and Kindergarten developmental milestones and communication disorders Strong skills in evaluation, therapy planning, and documentation
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to PreK and Kindergarten students onsite Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate records and progress notes per school and district guidelines Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Contribute to eligibility and IEP meetings, sharing expert recommendations Promote an inclusive, engaging classroom experience This role allows you to work closely with a manageable early childhood caseload and help lay the foundation for future learning by promoting essential communication skills.
