Job Description
Adventist Health is seeking a compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our mission-driven team. In this role, you will assess and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders for pediatric and adult patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans, provide patient and family education, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to support whole-person healing-mind, body, and spirit. Responsibilities Evaluate patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practice and patient goals. Provide therapy for pediatric and adult populations across inpatient and outpatient settings. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support progress. Document assessments, treatment, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and care teams to coordinate whole-person care. Participate in case conferences, care planning, and discharge planning as needed. Contribute to quality improvement, clinical education, and best-practice initiatives.
