A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working onsite in a dynamic school environment in the Denver area. This contract position offers part-time hours—14-15 per week across two full days—serving students at Vega Collegiate Academy. You'll have the chance to directly impact a mild to moderate caseload, supporting growth and communication skills for students ages birth through 21.

Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution required Current Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Certification Active Colorado SLP License; will also accept licenses as Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist (ages birth through 21) Previous experience in school settings highly valued Ability to successfully complete district fingerprinting and background check

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with mild to moderate needs Design, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans based on student goals Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to support students' communication development and educational success Complete regular progress reports and maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Contribute insights and strategies during IEP meetings and professional discussions This position brings the satisfaction of working with a talented educational team, an organized assignment with a single school site, and the fulfillment that comes from making a daily difference for students.
