Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students (K-4) through high-impact speech-language services in a dynamic school environment near Aurora, CO. You'll have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of young learners, collaborating with educators and families to foster communication skills and academic success. This full-time contract position focuses on one school site with a manageable caseload of 33 students, creating a supportive setting for thorough assessment, targeted therapy, and ongoing progress monitoring.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Active CDE licensure in Colorado (consideration given to candidates with a license in progress) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates encouraged to apply Experience with pediatric and elementary (K-4) populations in educational or healthcare settings Proficiency in providing therapy via telehealth and/or onsite services Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish strongly preferred Demonstrated skills in assessment, intervention planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams Previous experience with school-based caseload management and IEP documentation No SLPA supervision required
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language interventions to a diverse K-4 caseload Conduct evaluations to determine students' needs and craft individualized goals Participate in IEP meetings, communicate progress, and develop collaborative relationships with staff and families Maintain accurate records and compliance with state and district guidelines Embrace opportunities for hybrid service delivery, creating an effective and flexible therapy schedule as needed This role empowers you to contribute to student growth in a supportive community, with the option to blend teletherapy and on-site work if you demonstrate strong potential and organization.
