A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Private Practice Speech Therapist- Pediatric Boulder Speech Therapy Boulder, CO Job Details Part-time $60 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Working with pediatric populations Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Pediatrics Patient interaction Full Job Description Seeking a Colorado DORA and ASHA certified speech-language pathologist with experience working with pediatric populations. Preferred candidates will have at least one to two years or more experience working with children/tweens with articulation disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, language-based learning disorders, and neurodivergent treatment. I will accept a CF under specific circumstances. Big preference for those with private practice experience and an understanding of how to provide a complete experience for a family and their child. Looking for someone who is independent/confident in their skill set. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Implementation of one-on-one speech-language therapy sessions Complete evaluations to establish goals for therapy and complete comprehensive reports that are professional yet family friendly. Sessions to be held in person at our office Record SOAP note documentation including treatment and patient's reaction to treatment, which are written on the day of the visit and incorporated in the patient's record- paperwork is quite light. Debrief with parents Handle reschedules and makeups as necessary Efficient communication during the work day with patients Candidates MUST be available to work after-school hours 3-6 PM at minimum
