Job Description

This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about helping school-aged children succeed academically and socially, while collaborating closely with educators and family members.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current, valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong candidates with CFY considered Prior experience working with school-age populations is desirable Solid understanding of IEP process and best practices for therapy in schools Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organization skills
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations to determine students speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on findings Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and other school staff Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute relevant progress data Maintain detailed documentation and progress records in compliance with district and federal guidelines Offer support and resources to families, enhancing carryover and generalization of skills
